"He hasn't found us since Feudal Japan so...I presume so." Kat smiled slightly. "Though he did find our old place, your old 'lair', as you called it. That was an interesting battle." She laughed.

[Mikey]

"So if Raph dates you, it would be like dating an old-" Leo covered Kaida's mouth quickly. She jerked her head away, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "What?"

Kat laughed. "Haha, not really. Eternally 18, until I decide to live normally." She grinned. "Which I decided to do a few days ago anyway, I've had enough of the world."

[Mikey]

Kaida opened her mouth to say something, but Leo said, "No, she isn't suicidal."

She closed her mouth.

I looked at Kat. "I guess it would be like falling asleep after a long day, huh?"

"Pretty much, escpet it's not like that. I just start aging again, as if I was human. I can stop it again whenever I want, but I've had enough of being immortal and hiding." Kat sighed before glancing at her watch. "I think we should head to bed soon, it's pretty late."

The mention of bed made my eyelids suddenly droop. Silently, we all got up and shuffled to our rooms. Man... a sleep sounded so good. I couldn't even remember when I had last slept. Well, I could, but you know what I mean.

Kat and Alyssa both collapsed in Kat's room on her bed, immediately falling asleep.

Next Morning...

Kat muttered something in her sleep and rolled over, only to land on the floor.

"What the heck? Oh yeah..." She laughed slightly when she saw Alyssa still asleep, her legs off the bed and on the floor. "Time to make breakfast, it's- HOLY MOTHER OF COFFEE IT'S AFTER 1AM!!"

[Mikey]

I heard Kat shout something and jumped out of bed, my nunchucks spinning madly. Leo was out of his room, his katanas pointing upwards. Karai was standing behind him, looking around suspiciously.

"Kat, is there anything wrong?" Leo asked.

"Nothing!" Kat yelled back as she scrambled into her jeans and pulled her hair up into a pony-tail at the same time. "I'm just running late, that's all!" She added before shrieking as she tripped over her shoes. "Ouch!"

[Leo]

"Well, thanks for waking us up!" shouted Mikey. "I really needed to wake up round about now, at like one in the morning."

I glared at him.

[Oh... Don't worry. We can just say she misread the time XD]

"Sorry, my mistake! It's actually 1pm! I thought I felt like I'd overslept!" Kat explained as she jogged downstairs, pulling a sweater over her head. "I'm late for work!"

"You work?" Raph asked as he came downstairs behind her, putting on his mask. Kat nodded as she managed to get the top on.

"Yeah, I work as a mechanic and air painter at an auto shop." She laughed. "Weird job, I know. But it pays well."

[Mikey]

"I'll make breakfast," I said. "Or is that nightfast?"

"Just... make something," Leo said.

"Okay, geez, I was just asking," I grumbled, not really cross though.

"Breakfast would be nice, Mikey." Kat smiled before grabbing a belt of tools and paint guns off a bench. "I'll be back around 5-ish, probably later. Alyssa's in charge!"
