Thought I might show it here too.

Materials Used.

Program : Adobe Photoshop
Model : Me ofcourse
Camera : Sony Ericsson w810i Camera (2.0 Mega Pixel)
Mysterious Light in the Fonts : They are Battery Operated.
Environment : My Realm
Guest Stars : FireBalls/Orbs

I like your vectors. Very complete and shiny. *_* The ADD girl in me is cheering.

Though your gradients look a little blocky. You saved as a jpg I assume? Would it be possible for you to load the psd and resave it as a png and link me? So much more quality in pngs, and I'd love to see the full version without jpg distortion.

Also, little nitpick about your light source and the way your objects and letters appear front lit. Try making your shadow go more towards the rear instead of towards the front, or if you like the front face shadow, make the front of the objects darker. It's like you have two light sources, and only one shadow.

Actually ! This much Gradient can only be handled by BMP format , even PNGs can't handle it.

And you won't believe it that the light source was edited by a soft brush to make it fit , I'll try to do it by the Photoshop Built in Light Filter , though it is more trouble maker than this one.

And Actually light is coming from the two sources , one from Above , and some from the font front right , thats why Font Shadows are not that dark.
It is an assumption actually.

I tried to evaluate the phenomenon and this was the only suitable angle of shadows.
Oh ! And I added a little Sharpness to the final Image.

Ahhh. Cool. Definitely let us see the finished product.

And I still feel like there should be a second, very blurred shadow. Try it on a separate layer, see how it looks to you. With every light there is a shadow, and with the seeming intensity of the front light, I feel there should be at least a mid grey range shadow. Personal taste maybe, but it looks great without it too.
(We've got to be some of the biggest graphic geeks on the forum, Guardian. xD)

Hmm... About the Light , I think First of all I'll try to Decrease the upper right corner light to some easy level.
It is too much for my eyes.
Second , I'll try to make a second shadow too , maybe behind the text or something ? Any suggestions ?

Well it seems like you've got your second frontal light source coming in from the upper right. So I would think you'd duplicate your reflection shadow, and then maybe desaturate and multiply the layer, lowering the opacity to about 60 percent.

As to where, stretch it out behind the lettering at about the same 45 degree angle you've got at the front, and make it a little shorter, as the light is harsher. (If you decrease, you might want to lengthen the shadow, to make it seem softer. Play with it.)

Tried it , Not working.
It seems I am out of options.
But anyway , I'll finish wit some Lights/Shadows only.

I've solved one thing though , Main Light in upper Right Corner is very soft now.
Looking good , BMP removes very much Gradient weakness on the floor but I am trying to completely optimize it.

yes much better. The light on the words could be coming from reflections now, and it is much more... visually oriented. I do like.

I had to go through a lot of pain to get this.
First I had to get my lil bro on an agreement that he'll take my snaps from a high angle , and I'll let him watch Batman Episodes that I am downloading.And Further more that I'll download BTTS for him , He is a FOX.

Then I had a bigger pain when I had to paint the reflection under me in the snaps.
I tried many things that you'll be Laughing upon for a year if you'll know.

Then I painted the little reflection under my snap with hand.

Oh ! And the mysterious Light from the Fonts ? Actually Fonts are Battery Operated.

I am gonna add materials list in the first post now.

I know a few hints for getting the shadow the way you want it. Though how I would describe it would be different if you're not using CS3 (The version I'm currently running)

I am running CS4 , I think it will work.
Please share.
