Well first of all, I've been watching the 80s series again, partly for nostalgia and partly to make sure they did the 80s turtles right in the crossover.

After watching it I have to say, they did a pretty good job of keeping everyone true to character as well as staying true to the "formula" of the 80s series (slapstick comedy and all). Which kind of made it all the more hilarious when the 80s version was made fun of (it wasn't that bad, the things they poked fun at were true, giving us classic TMNT fans some inside jokes to laugh at -- I was laughing so hard at current Don's comment about classic April's jumpsuit and the whole thing with 80s Raphael always breaking the 4th wall).

Anyways, once you get passed the horrible current turtle designs (why couldn't they for once return to the 2k3 designs?) it's actually pretty good. The new voice actors for the 80s characters were pretty spot on to their original voices, especially Raphael's. The only one that bothered me was 80s Leonardo, that voice was WAY too deep, plus he was the worst voice actor in the movie.

The "Turtle Prime" part aka the Mirage comic, was pretty cool to see animated. However, the voices were horrible, WAY TOO DEEP (and again, horrible voice acting). *Sigh* yes, I know I'm being a little nitpicky but these things bothered me. I did like the subtle way they included Slash, making Hun mutant into him though. I also loved what they did with the last part with the Mirage turtles saying what has to be my favorite line from the comics, and then them turning into the actual comic 2 page spread (the most well known image when talking about the comics) with Eastman and Laird talking in the background.

Overall it was a good movie that "if" it ever gets a DVD release (and that's IF) I wouldn't mind buying it.

And for those that may have missed it, they are replaying it in three parts over the next three weeks.

Hope you enjoyed the movie, or hope you will enjoy it if you haven't seen it yet... and one last thing I feel I just HAVE to say...

I have to disagree about the Mirage turtles VA. Theird deep voices fit their Grim and gritty world perfectly. After all, they did start as Frank Millar spoofs.

I quite liked the comic versions turtles voices as well. x] The old cartoon Leo's voice, however, is too low. >.<

I'm just glad we won't have to see those geeky wanna-bes from the 80s. One Mikey's already a pain in the shell but five?! No thanks.

Once I grab my hands on a DVDrip, I'm gonna post it on the Forums, don't worry Still haven't watched it since I'm a huge Quality Nazi, and I can't wantch anything from a TV rip unless it's a complete MUST-SEE, and Turtles Forever isn't there.

Though, I might also put up the TVrip too for those who can stand watching TVrips... Ah, well, I'll see if I have 'nuff time for that xD I also have 26 episodes to upload from Fast Forward on RapidShare, and about 120 more episodes to upload to MegaUpload xD I really fail. Gotta get some fast uploaders over there to upload together with me -.-
