An Introduction at Last

Hello everyone,

I'm known here and other places as AnonSoD. My love of TMNT started when I was a child and they first aired the 80s cartoon. As I grew I fell out of it until the CGI TMNT movie which reminded me of all the things I love about the turtles.

Respect, Honor, Family, and the freedom to be who they are.

Since then I managed to watch the new toon TMNT backwards starting at season 4 to season 1.
I have to say Leonardo is very solidly my favorite and has always been.

I'm not a huge fan of the new art style in BTTS, but the humor is always good.

I'm pleased to say that I managed to go to the 25th Anniversary of TMNT in San Diego this last summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I met so many people there, all of which were very cool. If I could I would return to the night we saw TMNT Forever premiered there.

Other things about me, I love to write although I rarely post because I've managed to come across a life and goodness knows where that came from. I do miss being able to spend a great deal of time online and with my other joy which is drawing. I've recently gotten calligraphy pens to work on my inking, perhaps I will share some of my attempts in the future, provided I ever get a working scanner.

Welcome AnonSoD. My love for the turtles also started with the 80s cartoon. They were cool but I prefer the 2k3 style.

April especially bothers me. She somehow went from looking almost human to this stick-thin thing with very anime-shaped face. I like anime but this version of April really doesn't work for me. Although Leo's pouty face in the BTTS style is the best.

I like the first five seasons of the new toon style best along with the darker colors they used. It worked well considering most of their time they spent underground or outside at night.
