I can't wait for the announcement, Nintendo says it's in the works...luckily they pulled out Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks to keep the fans from going bonkers. When oh when will they announce the new Wii game... :bounce:

Is it the one with the strange looking girl? She looks like she could be connected to Link's sword in some way, notice he is not carrying a sword? Surprised

Notice the rounded pommel butt of the handle, the wing-shaped cross-guard with the jewel in the middle of the hilt, and the bump at the base of the blade ... it all lines up with the head, cloaked torso and legs of the mysterious girl at Link's back.

If the rumors are right on the connections being made, we now face even more questions than ever before: if Link has no sword and this fairy-like creature joining him us a substitute for the Master Sword, how could this possibly work in the intense battles that Link will surely face in his new quest?
Is it possible that the next Zelda will not have traditional sword battles at all and instead this girl will somehow act as your offensive force? Or will she instead be a personification of the Master Sword, something that changes into a blade at will? Will she talk to Link on his journey, or are her eyes closed for a reason?

I just watched an interview between Shigeru Miyamoto and a Gamespot interviewer, they were discussing some of the Wii Motion Plus effects that are going to be in the Zelda game...and that's it...
