Chapter 25

"Cowabunga!" Mikey yelled, riding his skateboard up a ramp. He pushed off the top, spinning through the air. He landed perfectly, and sped off to grind across a rail.
"And why don't you do this well in lessons?" Leo asked him sternly, but he was smiling.
"This is different," explained Mikey, coming to a halt. He had spotted Angel, whose arms were bearing a black bin bag. Mikey watched her, wondering what she was doing.
"Hi Angel," Don waved. He was leaning against a wall. Leonardo nodded at her, sitting near the sewer water.
"I didn't know you dropped out of school and became a bin man," Mikey teased her, though he wanted to see what was in the bag.
"Ha ha," Angel sarcastically remarked. She poured out the contents, revealing an assortment of goods.
"So you're Santa?" Mikey asked her.
"I want you guys to destroy it," Angel replied calmly.
"It?" Don repeated.
"Every single blimin' thing," Angel added, kicking a pink teddy bear with her foot. It skidded across the ground and nearly fell into the sewer water. Leo caught it with left hand, without thinking.
"May I ask why?" Don asked, picking up a box of chocolates.
"No," Angel growled, "Now are ya helping or not?"
Don sighed, and went to fetch something from the lair. Leo stood up and got out his katana. He looked at Angel, "You're sure about this? This stuff looks expensive."
"I didn't buy any of this muck," Angel's voice wobbled. Mikey put an arm around her. Leo tactfully began throwing things into the air, before slicing them into shreds before they hit the ground.
"Is it Simon?" whispered Mikey.
"I'm watchin'," Angel smiled slightly as the remains of a card fell to the floor.
Mikey nudged her, "Watching what?"
"Your brother, because he's so fit," Angel told him. Mikey stared at her, before noticing her giggling slightly. Mikey chuckled.
"I will take that as a compliment," said Leo, pausing for a moment. He put his katanas away, "Something's wrong."

Mikey squeezed her, giving her support. Angel blinked, "I broke up with my boyfriend Simon."
Mikey felt unusually pleased at this news. However, Leo looked horrified, "How awful! Did he dump you, or..."
"I dumped him," Angel stuck out her chin, "He told me Angel was a sweet name and that I was his little angel. He kept giving me all this pink junk, and I felt like a three year old. Then he found a blonde idiot who liked getting all that stuff."
"Ah..." said Leo, "Then what?"
"He didn't tell me, of course," Angel crossed her arms, "I found them at the park, all loved up. And love messages on his phone... So I was all, that's it. I gave him a fat slap on his face and went off. Then he called me proper stinging things, and he said Angel was a suckish name." Angel's eyes filled with tears. Leo gave her hand a comforting squeeze, and began saying things to cheer her up. Mikey kept Angel on his arm, savouring the moment.
"Leo! Mike! Angel!" Don rushed over, coming to a stop. He panted, falling to his knees.
"What is it?" Leo helped Donnie up.
"It's... it's," Don wheezed. Mikey shook his brother.
"Call yourself a turtle of many words!" said Mikey, "Now tell us what it is."
Donnie took a deep breath, "Guys, it's-"

Chapter 26

Yo

Ya fink that I'm gonna hang round all punnist while you guys have all da fun? Well... Ya wrong. I'm sick of all of ya.
Firstlee, there's sensei. He finks that I'm 2 blame for all this stuff when it ain't my fault. I mean, he wasn't their so hows he suppost to know anythin about the last few weaks?
And Mikey is dumb and stoopid. He finks hes so clevah making all them jokes about me, he finks I dont know. Well, hes a moron and I'm gettin the last laff.
Donnies a wimp, and he was stoopid followin bettee like a stalkeh... no, as he WOZ a stalkah. But did he get punnist? No...
And I have a BIG BIG BIG essay about Leo. But I dont want to waste my time talkin about him, so I'll say a few of da key points. Leo is a-

Splinter's finger quickly covered up the next word.

Splinter lowered the letter, and dropped it to the floor. There was a minute's silence, until Leo picked it up and began ripping it to pieces.
"Leo!" Don grabbed his hands, "What the shell are you doing?"
"Destroying it," Leo replied angrily, "The nerve of him! He thinks we'll get so upset because he left, and he thinks it's OUR fault!"
"My son," Splinter put a hand on Leo's shoulders, "Anger does not solve anything."
"I'm furious," Leo threw the remains of Raph's letter onto the floor, "And being all guilty won't get him back!"
"Yes, he is gone," Splinter sighed, sadly, "We should hope that he returns soon."
Nobody went to bed that night. Splinter sat in the armchair, seemingly asleep. Don kept looking at the kitchen, wishing he had a cup of coffee. Karai sat next to Leo, leaning against him. Leo remained cold for a few minutes, before allowing himself to put an arm around her.

Mikey played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, sitting on the floor, a bag of sugary treats by his side. Splinter sniffed disapprovingly when he heard the opening music, but he didn't say anything.
"Mikey, you're not helping," Leo told him.
"I could go out and look for him," Mikey offered, knowing what the answer would be.
"One of you gone is enough," said Splinter.
"So I may as well do something," Mikey held up the bag of candy, after seeing Leo's face, "Caramel Crunch, my brother? And how about you, milady?"
"I'd take one," Don told Karai, taking out a coffee flavoured chocolate bar, "Less sugar for him, so he won't get hyper and annoy us to death."
Karai reluctantly took out a plain bar of dark chocolate. Leo turned away.
"You know you want one," Mikey put on a Darth Vader voice, "Join the dark side."
Leo didn't reply. Mikey held up a caramel crunch and waved it in front of Leo's face, "You know you want it."
"Stop it," Leo growled. Karai took out a caramel crunch.
"Come on, Leo," Don smiled, "It'll make you feel better."
"Go with the flow," Mikey began shaking his body, "Like me..."
"I am-" Leo started, however Karai climbed over him and stuffed the chocolate into his mouth. Mikey squealed with joy, and got out some more candy. He gave some out to everyone.
"Lets play feed the grumpy brother," Mikey declared.
"I don't want-" Leo started, but the others were already going towards him.
Splinter smiled slightly as he heard the commotion.

Chapter 27

Angel walked down the street, shivering. It was a frosty morning, and she was on her way to school. Angel closed her eyes, wishing that she could go home and stay in the warmness of her bed. She opened her eyes, and found herself at the school gates.
Her day at school was no different than usual. The whispers, the sniggers, the rolling of the eyes. The teachers still talked to her slowly, she was tripped over in the corridor. Everything was the same.
After school, she quickly packed her bags and left. Angel dashed towards the gates. She was so close to freedom. Her hand reached for the cold metal door...
"Hello Angel," three tall girls stood in her way. Each had a fake tan, white blonde hair and slim figures. Angel glared at them, a head shorter. Her pale skin reddened with anger.
"You don't need to put the stupid act on. School's over," one sneered.
"Act?" the second girl put on a surprised face, "She's acting? I thought Angel was really that stupid."
"Oh, she is stupid," the third girl said. The three of them burst out laughing.
The second girl tugged at Angel's hair, "Who has purple hair?"
"Don't touch it, Anna, you might get fleas," the first girl said. The second girl let go quickly.
"Let me past," Angel tried to growl, but she was scared. Angel tried to dodge past them, but Anna grabbed hold of her.
"Trying to fly away?" Anna asked her, grinning, "Going to flap your little feathery wings?"
"Yeah," the third girl poked Angel, "Go fly away and never come back."
"What have I done to you?" Angel tried to escape, but Anna's grip was too strong.
"Stacey, care to show little Angel how to fly?" the first girl asked.
The third girl nodded and shoved Angel. Angel's face banged against the gate. She slid down onto her knees, trying not to cry.
"Baby," Stacey linked arms with the first girl and Anna, and they began to walk away. Suddenly, a giant monster jumped down. They pulled a stupid face and said, "Boo!"

Anna and Stacey screamed, before running out of the school. Everybody else had gone, so it was just the girl, Angel and the monster.
The monster jumped at the girl, "I said boo!"
She didn't flinch. Angel whispered to the monster, "Mikey, she ain't scared."
"I thought your boyfriend would look like this," the girl commented, "Who else would accept you for who you are?"
"Hey," Mikey pointed at her, "Angel's my friend."
"Angel and friend in the same sentence?" the girl laughed sarcastically, "That's new."
"Who is she?" asked Mikey.
"That's Georgina, but her two friends call her Fox glove sometimes," answered Angel quietly.
Mikey sniggered, "Fox glove? What kind of dumb name is that?"
Georgina glared at him, "And what kind of name is Michelangelo?"
Mikey gulped, "You know... But..."
Georgina smiled sweetly at him, "I have my ways. Now, I'll leave you two freaks alone now." Georgina left the school.
Mikey and Angel went down an alleyway, in silence. When they reached the manhole, Angel asked him why he had been there.
"I'as just looking out for you," Mikey ruffled her hair.
"I can take care of my own fights," Angel told him, but she was thankful he had come to her rescue, "Any sign of Raph?"
Mikey shook his head. It had been a week, and there still had been no sign of him. Angel sighed, "It doesn't matter. See you."
Mikey saw her turn away. It was now or never, "Err... Angel?"
Angel stopped and faced him again, "What?"
"I need to tell you something," Mikey cleared his throat, "I've realized... I, I have... I..."
Angel walked back to him, "Yeah, me too." She leant forwards. Mikey did so too.
Angel stuck out her tongue and blew on him, spraying him with spit. Mikey jumped, and clawed at his face, "That's totally gross. Ew ew ew!"
Angel laughed, before running off. Mikey sighed. It was just another typical thing that happened in Mikey's world. Mikey went down the manhole, glad nobody else had seen the scene happen.

"Heh heh," Leo came out of a shadowy corner, camera in hand, "This will teach Michelangelo something- never mess with the eldest brother." He followed Mikey down the manhole, before closing the lid, and this story, yet opening another.

I'll be doing the epilogue later.
