This topic is for discussion of the anime version (since we're in the Television section, and since it's toatally different from the manga). I haven't watched this all the way through in the English dub yet, but I've watched it through twice in Japanese and I really enjoyed it... until the last couple of episodes. ¬_¬; Also, the anime leaves quite abit unexplained and has a few plot-holes because it began production way too early when such things hadn't yet been explained in the manga. So it kinda screwed itself over, really. Still, Ed is hilarious (to say the least)!! This anime captures funny and serious moments brilliantly, and when you get to those really tense parts; you feel it! Full Metal Alchemist had me laughing-out-loud (sometimes crying with laughter too), on the edge of my seat, over-excitedly squeeing, and even brought me to tears at it's saddest times. It really is a rollercoater of emotions, and, despite the fact that I think they f*cked-up with alot of it; I'd recommend watching this to everyone. But also that they read the manga to find out the "true" Full Metal Alchemist story. Your views, please?

I still didn't watch it as I can't find it. Currently downloading really f*cking-slow torrent and want to watch first episode to see. I actually watched half of first episode on YouTube, too bad it was in English dub, and I like it. I heard that story is different than manga. I read manga, and I like it. Is the same? The storyline is great! That alchemist world really is fun and the introduction is so sad... Poor Al I'm waiting for torrent to see first episode XD

I've watched it with my country's language unofficial dub and it was good for meh.
I like the way Ed hates milk x] And when someone's calling him shoooort! _________________ ♦ ubi tu, Gajus, ibi ego, Gaja ♦ ♦ ...certum, quia impossibile est ♦ |

They've already produced the first episode of FMA 2. It's a new anime so that they could sort of change the way the first one ended. I've seen it, as it just came out recently, and I got the torrent. It's quite good, and I hope they add more things from the manga in it. _________________ Am I the only one frustrated by how many manhole covers get left UNcovered in the o3 series? *flail* Think of all the broken cars they must cause!

I watched the first anime, but not the second. My brother's watching/watched the second. He has an Edward Elric cosplay costume. =D _________________
